Spanish Language Course with Tango Classes
The sensual and complex tango dance is one of Argentina's most famous cultural traditions. Tango music accompanying dancers' graceful moves is often sad in nature, with lyrics that often talk of the troubles of love. Sometimes lyrics also treat the topic of politics and some songs even include humour. Lyrics generally incorporate a unique variety of slang known as Lunfardo, which has origins in Buenos Aires neighborhoods surrounding the city's port and which draws influence from a broad range of sources including Italian.
don Quijote partner schools in Cordoba, Mendoza and Bariloche give you the special chance to take a Spanish course combined with tango lessons, where you'll have an unforgettable experience living Spanish and the passionate sounds and graceful moves of tango. You'll take in tango shows and even get to practice your newly acquired dance skills at local tango and milonga bars, where you'll discover that tango is much more than just a dance, it's a lifestyle.
This course includes twenty group Spanish classes per week and eight evening tango lessons. Tango lessons include dance theory and practice and a trip to watch a live tango performance.
